A small, dedicated team in Perth building websites with purpose and craft since 2019.
WebAnchor Studio started with a simple premise: Australian businesses deserve websites that are built with genuine care and strategic thinking, not churned out from templates on a production line.
Founded by Marcus Chen and Eloise Barrett, the studio grew out of a shared frustration with agencies that prioritised volume over quality. From a co-working space in Perth's CBD, we began taking on projects that let us work closely with business owners who valued collaboration.
Six years on, our team has grown to five, our office sits on St Georges Terrace, and we have delivered over 85 projects for businesses across Western Australia and beyond. The premise remains the same: understand the business first, then design and build accordingly.
Three principles that shape every decision we make, from initial concepts to final deployment.
Every design decision serves a business goal. We do not add features or visual elements unless they contribute to what the site needs to achieve for your audience and your bottom line.
We write clean, hand-crafted code and create original designs. Taking the time to do things properly means your website performs better, lasts longer, and is easier to maintain.
We work best in long-term relationships where we get to know your business deeply. Many of our clients have been with us since year one, and their sites continue to grow.
A compact team where every member has a direct impact on your project.
Full-stack developer with 12 years of experience. Leads technical architecture and custom builds.
Brand strategist and designer. Shapes the visual direction and client relationships for every project.
Specialises in responsive interfaces and performance optimisation. Turns designs into fast, accessible code.
User research and interface design. Creates wireframes, prototypes, and design systems grounded in usability.
Keeps timelines, budgets, and communication on track. Your main point of contact throughout the project.
Our studio on St Georges Terrace is where the work happens. No remote-only chaos, no outsourcing to faceless contractors. When you call us, you speak to the people building your site.
We run two-week sprints, share progress through a project portal, and schedule regular check-ins so you always know where things stand. Friday afternoons are reserved for learning, experimenting, and keeping our skills current.
We are particular about the number of projects we take on at once. We would rather do fewer things properly than spread ourselves thin.
We are always happy to have an initial conversation about your project, with no obligation.
